Londons Old Operating Theatre

Londons old operating theatre is another one of Londons hidden gems - this time in the form of one of Londons oldest operating theatres dating back to the 17th century.
This historic operating theatre can be found on St Thomas Street in Londons popular area of London Bridge, The Shard & the world famous Borough Market.
The old operating theatre was found in the attic of St Thomas which is unusual as most operating theatres are either located at ground level of in the basement
In 1859 Florence Nightingale herself became involved with St Thomas Hospital
