In a blow to Indian IT professionals and students looking to work find work in the US job market, the Donald Trump administration has announced that H-1B visas will only be given to "highly paid talent". The move is Trump's latest effort to prioritise the hiring of Americans amid the country's growing economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We spoke with Chocko Valliappa, CEO of Vee Technologies and Vikram Ahuja, co-founder of Talent500 by ANSR, about the impact this can have on Indian businesses and jobseekers.
