We have spent a lot of time on the Las Vegas Strip since the Las Vegas reopen, and we wanted to share with you what has changed and what you can expect when you next travel to Las Vegas. In this Las Vegas vlog, we also share with you some of our Las Vegas tips and experiences after the Las Vegas reopen.
Most Las Vegas Strip casinos and restaurants, including pools, have now reopened but with social distancing measures in place including 50% capacity limitations. Las Vegas bars, however, are currently closed if they do not also serve food. Most Las Vegas buffets are currently closed. Two Las Vegas buffets on the Las Vegas Strip have reopened but with significant changes to their service, the Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas and Wicked Spoon Buffet at Cosmopolitan. Caesars Palace recently announced that Bacchanal Buffet will reopen towards the end of August.
Visiting Las Vegas, Nevada requires you to wear masks in public places, such as casinos, restaurants and other common spaces.
Other Las Vegas Strip activities, the High Roller observation wheel at the Linq Promenade is open with a limit of 10 passengers per cabin to allow for social distancing. The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Fly Linq at Linq Promenade reopened on July 2.
Two popular day clubs on the Las Vegas Strip — Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand — are now open Thursdays to Sundays, and reservations are required. Encore Beach Club has also reopened. The adults-only Marquee Pool at Cosmopolitan is currently open 11 a.m. until sunset Fridays to Sundays. Reservations required.
Most Las Vegas shows have not yet reopened on the Las Vegas Strip, but Big Elvis, a.k.a. Pete Vallee, was the first performer to return to Harrah’s Las Vegas with performances. Thursdays through Saturdays at Harrah’s Piano Bar — and it’s free.
