Grand Prix Legends - Simracing like its 1998

Grand Prix Legends - basically Deus Ex in our lil' sim racing world. The next installment in our "Simracing like its $year" series takes us back to 1998 - or rather 1967. We're driving the classic Lotus 49 in Kyalami, South Africa. I was starting from the back of the grid because you don't actually want to know how often I needed to restart the event until I was able to get a somewhat clean race.
I never tried Grand Prix Legends back when it was released as I was born in '96 myself, but I've gotta say that its still A LOT of fun, despite being frustratingly hard, at least with the vanilla cars you can see in this video.
Its so hard to imagine that back then, simracers had been driving this competitively. What a crazy time it must have been.
Please excuse my absolute lack of pace, after a rather poor start the AI started gain quite a lot of speed and I was left in the dust. The race might be a tad boring to watch, but I've had my hands (and feet) full while driving it.
Absolute respect to the heroes which drove during this era.
