Window leak repair - How to repair a leaky window with Turbo Poly Seal

A leaky window sill can cause harm to walls and flat roofs. In this video, you will see how to repair the transition from a glass window to a cement sill with Turbo Poly Seal.

Instructions on how to use Turbo Poly Seal to repair a leak on a window:
1. Remove old caulking and loose paint
2. Wipe clean the glass on the window with Acetone to ensure no silicone residue is left behind
3. Wire brush clean the sill to remove all plant and other debris
4.Mask off the window about 2 inches above the transition with masking tape
5. With a two-inch brush, apply one coat of Turbo Polyb Seal covering the glass and the sill
6. Install the polyester fleece that came with kit over the freshly painted coat of Turbo Poly Seal
7. App;y a top layer of Turbo Poly Seal covering the entire fleece
8. After 10 minutes, remove the masking tape
9. If needed, another coat of Turbo Poly Seal can be painted after 3 hours

Turbo Poly Seal is pliable and flexible and will adhere to glass, metal, wood, cement, PVC plastic and asphalt rubber.
It is good practice to do this repair in temperatures above 25 degrees Fahrenheit and below 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
