Rogue Squadron 3D - Chandrila Sequence break 2 reference

Synced (not frame perfectly though, but good enough to illustrate a point) to show that the spawning of the TIEs is tied to the despawning of the evac shuttles. something like 1:23½ seconds (more exact timing to be done) after the shuttle cutscene ends, the TIE cutscene starts.

Is it even possible? Who knows, the bottom two clips show examples of missiles being fired from ostensibly a correct position and at different times, neither succed. Would a Mos Eisley-style prefire do the trick?
