Current Electricity
Many inventions and discoveries have been made in order to facilitate human life smoothly. The discovery of current electricity is one such discovery that we are highly dependent on to make our life easier. Benjamin Franklin is credited with the discovery of electricity.

What Is Current Electricity?
Current electricity is defined as the flow of electrons from one section of the circuit to another.
Types of Current Electricity
There are two types of current electricity as follows:

● Direct Current (DC)
● Alternating Current (AC)

Resistors in Series
When resistors are connected in series, the total voltage (or potential difference) across all the resistors is equal to the sum of the voltages across each resistor. In other words, the voltages around the circuit add up to the voltage of the supply.
Resistors in Parallel
The total resistance of a circuit depends on the individual values of the resistors and how they are connected. The laws of conservation of energy and conservation of charge are used to derive the expressions for series and parallel resistance.
