Some struggle with landing bigger fish. When fishing from a gravel bar, should you use a net? Do you need a net? Should you land them on the gravel? There is a method to the madness. When we can retain fish, getting them up onto the gravel, is no big deal. When they are fish that need to be released, bringing fish to the water’s edge and not using a net, can be tricky. Time and distance are the keys to success.
