On June 28, 2014, a 54-year-old homeless man known on the streets as "Wolverine" was found shot through the temple near a row of abandoned buildings on the west side of Jacksonville, Florida. No weapon. No immediate suspect. Just a body — and a surveillance camera that caught two boys running away at 2:25 AM.
One of them was 12-year-old Sharron "Tommy" Townsend.
When detectives brought Tommy in for questioning, they already had everything — surveillance footage from multiple angles, social media photos of the gun, and his co-suspect Daryl already talking in the next room.
