A major environmental concern is emerging from Chile, where a landfill near the capital has been identified as ONE of the world’s biggest sources of methane emissions. According to the united nations environment programme, the lomas los colorados landfill, located near Santiago, has been ranked the largest human-made source of methane emissions in the world.
