Fajra Everbrandt is one of the last dragons after her kind was massacred over a century ago. Tristan is another survivor who saved Fajra and her mother from being killed during the war. Unfortunately, Fajra's mother, Tesni, was killed by hunters and Fajra was sold to the circus where she grew up. Tristan was taken in by the god of death, Athanasius. After escaping the circus, Fajra is reunited with Tristan who has been living with the guilt of failing to save anyone. He's either the best thing for her or the worst.
