In this video, I have talked about two Mysterious Discoveries in the Universe. which is related to two-star systems. The name of these star systems are (PDS 70) and (RW Aur A) star systems.

The first-star system is RW Aur A which is located about 450 light-years from Earth. Since 1937, astronomers have puzzled over the curious variability of a young star. Every few decades, the star’s optical light has faded briefly before brightening again. In recent years, astronomers have observed the star dimming more frequently, and for longer periods.

Now the observations from NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory indicate that scientists may have observed, for the first time, the destruction of a young planet or planets around a nearby star and the host star is now in the process of devouring the planetary debris. This discovery gives insight into the processes affecting the survival of infant planets.

The second-star system is PDS 70 which is a low-mass T Tauri star in the constellation Centaurus. Located approximately 370 light-years from Earth, it has a mass of 0.82 Mass and is approximately 10 million years old.

The star has a protoplanetary disk containing two nascent exoplanets, named PDS 70b and PDS 70c, which have been directly imaged by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope.

Where PDS 70b was the first confirmed protoplanet to be directly imaged and A second planet, named PDS 70c, was discovered in 2019 using the VLT's MUSE spectrograph.
