Mr. Rupankar Lodh presented in OPD with complaints of bleeding per rectum. A colonoscopy was done for the symptoms and he was diagnosed with cancer of the sigmoid colon. He underwent laparoscopic anterior resection with diversion ileostomy successfully. The patient is now undergoing chemotherapy and has no complaints after the surgery.
