Stradivari Anniversary Concert: Dover String Quartet

Catapulted to prominence after sweeping the 2013 Banff Competition, the young, spirited Dover Quartet has become a sought-after ensemble. Its “glorious timbral richness” (Sunday Times) helped earn the group two coveted distinctions in the chamber music world: the Cleveland Quartet Award and the Avery Fisher Career Grant. In this archival video performance from December 18, 2017, the Dover Quartet presented a thoughtful and riveting performance of Alexander Zemlinsky’s second string quartet.
