Today I am sharing the recipe of an Indian flavor Cake Paan Gulkand (beetel leaf and Rose petal jam).
This recipe is eggless and made without using Oven.

This recipe will make around 600gms cake after icing .

For the sponge
All purpose flour (maida) - 1cup + 3tbs (164gms)
Baking powder - 1/2tsp
baking soda - 1/4tsp
Corn flour 2tbs (14gms)
Powdered sugar - 1cup (120gms)
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Milk - 1cup (250ml)
Vinegar - 1tsp
(if using lemon juice add 1tbs)
Melted Butter - 1/4cup +2tbs (100gms)
(if using oil add 80ml refined oil)
Paan Essence - 1/4tsp
Green Colour - few drops (Optional)

*1Cup used -250ml
*Paan essence -from Fab
*Green Colour - Liquid colour from Papilon
*Aluminium Cake tin - 6inch by 4inch
*In Case Baking in OTG -180C for 35mins

For Soaking
Water - 1/4cup
Powdered sugar - 2tsp

For Icing ,filling and garnish
Whipping cream -1cup+1/4cup
Paan essence - few drops
Gulkand (Rose petal jam) - 2tbs

*Green colour for fault line - Neon green from Magic colors
*For Roses - Neon Purple from Magic Colors
*Nozzle for Rose - Wilton 104
*Green colour for leaf - Food Gel Color Green

For Golden finish on fault line
Edible Gold luster dust and gold glitter, mix with lemon juice/evaporator/Alcohol .
