Arlington expands indoor smoking ban to include e‑cigarettes and vapes

Arlington has expanded its smoking ordinance to ban e‑cigarettes and vapes in all indoor public places. City leaders said the update closed a loophole in the decade‑old law, which previously prohibited only traditional smoking. Arlington now joins more than 90 Texas cities with similar restrictions. The City Council approved the change unanimously, and the updated rules are already in effect.
