A spectacular walk through the Gorges de St Pierre near Beauvezer.

This walk starts at Villars-Heyssier and follows a rocky path on a small terrace in the rock face above the gorges. Giving spectacular views and an exciting mountain experience with a typical Southern France atmosphere. This is the rough beauty of the Haut Verdon in the Haut Provence.

This walk can be done by tracing back your steps at the end of the gorge, or you can do a round walk as shown in the video by walking to Le Cougouyon (2147 m) through the Cirque du Laupon. A beautiful round walk.

Difficulty: Medium, but you need good shoes and you should be able to handle heights.
