Audi PCV and oil consumption issue Quick Tip

If you have an 09-12 Audi with the 2.0 TFSI engine, you may be suffering from excessive oil consumption and leaving large plumes of smoke behind you at stoplights. I'm offering a tip on what Audi dealerships do in the preliminary stages to try and solve the issue. They simply install a redesigned part that you can get from Rock Auto for around $50 and install yourself. YOUR CAR MAY VARY and have other underlying mechanical issues that this may not totally fix. But it's a good start versus several hundred or thousand at the shop. It's also not unheard of to get a bad PCV out of the box or have the valve inside it stick open a month later. Many VW mechanics will confirm. But this part is known to cause excessive oil consumption, misfires, etc.This is the link for what part I ordered.
