The Summer Without Prosciutto. This one pairs cantaloupe, mastiha liqueur, lemon juice and fresh olive oil to get that savory sweet vibe you’d find in an Italian melon and prosciutto plate, but in a glass, no meat required.

The egg white is key here. It emulsifies the olive oil into the cocktail, locking in its flavor and texture so it blends smoothly into the drink instead of floating on top. That’s how you get all the character of the oil without any greasy layer.

Recipe

Ingredients
2 oz Purity London Dry Gin
1 tsp fresh extra virgin olive oil
3 to 4 chunks cantaloupe
0.5 oz mastiha liqueur
1 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1 egg white

Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker.
Muddle the cantaloupe.
Dry shake for a few seconds.
Add ice and shake again for about 10 seconds.
Strain over ice into a double rocks glass.
Garnish with a cantaloupe slice.
