Rod Steiger and Anthony Perkins in The Glory Boys (1984)

Adapted from the novel by Gerald Seymour, this 1984 thriller was made by Yorkshire Television and originally broadcast in three 50 minute episodes. This 105 minute omnibus edit was made for overseas sales use (it was also released in the UK on VHS back in the eighties). Although the omnibus loses a considerable chunk of broadcast material, it's also a tighter and, for me, more satisfying watch.
