Pros and Cons to Living on Lake Lanier

What exactly are the Pros and Cons to Living on Lake Lanier? Having been a Lake Lanier resident for the past 5 years, I've discovered plenty of pros to living on Lake Lanier and some cons. Lake Lanier has almost 700 miles of shoreline and thousands of homes. Obviously there are many things to love about living here--the lake is in your backyard! But there are also things that aren't so great--like having to manage your dock and the expense of living on Lake Lanier.
