House Of Lords Deliver Massive Defeat to Boris On Internal Market Bill!

Boris Johnson saw a massive defeat to the Internal Market Bill in the House of Lords, the Lords rejected the governments attempt to allow ministers to breach parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol which is part of the greater Withdrawal Agreement.

Boris Johnson has said that the clauses are necessary to protect the Good Friday Agreement from being undermined by the EU, however neither the EU or the US has agreed to such an accusation.

Ministers have agreed that the breaching the Withdrawal Agreement would break international law.

Some senior ex-Tory MPs who are now peers voted against the government.
