Jackie Daly has been to the forefront of Irish Traditional Music since the early 1970's. He has played accordion with some of the biggest bands including De Dannan, Patrick Street, Delores Keane & Buttons and Bows.

Originally from Kanturk on the Cork side of Sliabh Luachra, Jackie learnt his music in the locality and formed a great duet in the 70's with the late Séamus Creagh. Nowadays Jackie has gone back to his roots and plays in duet with Matt Cranitch regularly.

Jackie became a household name with De Dannan in the late 70's and early 80's. They went into the charts with My Irish Molly Oh and toured the world with their music.
One of TG4's most acclaimed music documentary programmes - 'Sé Mo Laoch, is back for an 8th series. Each programme will feature the musical story of a hero of Irish Traditional Music.
