“Oslo Gave Us an Airport” — How Trump’s “Peace” Plan Demands Palestinian Surrender, Again.

On Al Arabiya this week, I debated Fatah’s Jamal Nazal and Khalil Sayegh about Donald Trump’s so-called Gaza “peace plan.”

The moment I criticized Tony Blair’s bloody legacy in Iraq and called the plan Oslo 2.0, Jamal told me to “ikhras” (shut up), accused me of being “like Ben Gvir,” and proudly defended Oslo by saying: “We got an airport.”

This clip shows what happens when you speak truth to power — and why too many of our so-called leaders keep defending frameworks designed to pacify us, not free us.

In this exchange I explain why:
• Trump’s plan offers capitulation, not peace.
• Blair is the last person who should be entrusted with Gaza’s future.
• A ceasefire without accountability is just a pause before the next massacre.
• Oslo gave Palestinians symbols, but not sovereignty.

As I reminded Jamal: genocide is not self-defense. And as Ghassan Kanafani warned long ago: “You don’t mean peace talks. You mean capitulation.”
