✈️ Incident 2 (Su-35 Intercept): A Russian Su-35 fighter jet closed the gap so rapidly and dangerously that the severe wake turbulence or electronic proximity automatically triggered the British spy plane's emergency defense systems—immediately disabling its autopilot functionality.

The Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft carries a crew of up to 30 specialized personnel, and a mid-air disaster would have instantly triggered a massive international diplomatic crisis between nuclear powers. The UK has officially condemned the incident as "dangerous and unacceptable behavior."
