pt7. TESTING 4 weeks after Rupturing and Retracting my Hamstring Tendon |

4 Weeks since my operation to repair my Semimembranosus Tendon. It snapped and retracted, so Reconstruction was my best option. I have begun lower body training and rehabilitation and feel STRONG! After doing some basic tests it doesn't seem like I've lost too much strength which is amazing considering what I've just had done!

It's within 10% of my "good" leg which is phenomenal. I have started Taekwondo based training again, and of course everything I do is under complete supervision of a medical team. They are assessing me daily and have a great understanding of my history, my capabilities and extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of rehabilitating injuries. I also have access to scans to see the progress of the healing inside, so leaving no stone unturned. PLEASE DO NOT try to copy my return to training, my sessions or timeframes, everyone is unique and starting from different physical baselines. SEEK MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS HELP if returning from injury!
