Utharam (The Answer) Malayalam short film with English subtitle

'Utharam' (The Answer) is a 19 minute 36 seconds-long Malayalam-language short film. Ditto, the class monitor, tries to discipline the class while simultaneously attempting to mug his textbook to prepare for the last hour of school. However, what the boy soon has to face is humiliation by the despotic teacher, in front of his peers and crush. The film is a commentary on the failure of the long-outdated Indian education system; the failure of the protagonist being an appropriate metaphor for the same.
