Making Small Wooden Box with only Hand Tools

After buying some drill bits which didn't come with a box I decided I needed somewhere safe to store them, it seemed a perfect opportunity to make a short video featuring one of my other hobbies, i.e. woodworking using only hand tools, unfortunately I also wanted to make the video slightly informative so it ended up being a bit longer than I'd planned because when looking for videos on making a box for storing drill bits I only came across vague or unsuitable boxes so felt I had to be reasonably detailed on some of the steps involved.

The Box is made from Oak (probably white oak) I salvaged from bits of oak decking. I didn't want to waste extra video time preparing the stock so I skipped that stage to concentrate purely on the box building.

As I mentioned in the video I'm no Paul Sellers I'm little more than a noob who enjoys tinkering with woodwork. using only hand tools was far more time consuming than is probably necessary but the sense of satisfaction is proportionate to the time taken I feel.
