Stricker-Backyard Landscape Design-Windsor Colorado

This design is for a new construction home in Windsor, Colorado. The back yard slopes up to the rear property line with a 24% grade. This corner lot requires detail to drainage and good design so that the homeowner can have a turf area for their pup. The dry creek beds will help capture drainage from the backyard slope. A wooden bridge and a flagstone bridge allows for access of the mower and pedestrians over the creek along with pathways in the side yard. Since the homeowner's dog is small, additional wing fence and gates allow the homeowners to keep a watchful eye on their pup. Lots of evergreen trees, colorful shrubs and perennials provide year round interest.
