2-21: Determine the design angle θ (0°≤ θ ≤ 90°)for member AB so that the 400-lb horizontal force

In this video, we determine the design angle theta (0–90 deg) for member AB so that a 400-lb horizontal force has a 500-lb component directed from A toward C (given phi = 40 deg). We also report the component of the force along member AB. The solution is presented using a clean triangle-of-forces approach with the Law of Sines, without resolving into x–y components.
