Vishva Bandhu Bharat: India's Global Leadership in Geospatial Science
At the First National Conference on #Geodesy (GeodCon-26), Hon’ble Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said that geospatial science today benefits sectors ranging from infrastructure to disaster management to strategic areas.
He noted that geodesy is emerging as a foundational discipline supporting satellite navigation, climate monitoring, and precision mapping, with India increasingly building its own geospatial data capabilities and expanding its role as #VishvaBandhuBharat.
