Music credit: Parks, Squares and Alley’s “Youth” - https://soundcloud.com/parrkssquares/youth-2. Super cool dream-pop sound from the Russian Sergey Khavro! Highly recommend checking his music out.
Bio (from the project’s Facebook page): Parks, Squares and Alleys, project of Moscow-based Sergey Khavro, teleports a piece of the LA-native indie scene to the opposite side of the globe. With their musical journey extending over a decade, 25 year old Khavro graduated from writing upbeat ear-worms for the lovesick to being a voice of reality and self-reflection. Shortly after moving to Moscow in 2014, he was joined on stage by the musicians of another fan-favorite indie act Mari!Mari!, thus effectively transforming his bedroom project to a fully-fledged live band. Combining shimmering guitars licks and cavernous multi-layered vocal sweeps with profound lyrical self-examinations, Parks, Squares and Alleys treads the border between the shoegaze etherealism of the 90’s and dream-pop craftsmanship, all while keeping his work DIY to its fullest.
