தஞ்சாவூருக்குப் பக்கத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு கிராமத்தில் பிறந்த ஶ்ரீதர் வேம்பு, சென்னை ஐ.ஐ.டி.யில் படித்துவிட்டு, பிற்பாடு அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள பிரின்ஸ்டன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்தார். 1996-ல் அட்வென்ட்நெட் என்கிற சாஃப்ட்வேர் நிறுவனத்தைத் தொடங்கியவர், 2009-ல் அதை ஜோஹோ என்று பெயர் மாற்றினார். இன்றைக்கு சாஸ் (SaaS) தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் உலகின் மிக முக்கியமான நிறுவனமாக மாறியிருக்கிறது ஜோஹோ.

Sridhar Vembu was born in Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu. He founded AdventNet in 1996 to make software products at a time when IT services were the rising industry in India. In 2009 he changed the company Zoho Corp. Zoho originally started as a software company serving network equipment vendors to an innovative online applications provider. Now Zoho is a leading SaaS player.
