SWFL Eagles ~ Tandem Feeding! M Brings In Squirrel & Fish & Offers Bites To F23 Who Feeds E23 1.9.24

It is very windy at the nest and F23 wakes up and she floats right up into a hover over the cam and then floats back down. M15 is watching her from the attic. She flies to the attic and they can be seen mating from the pond cam. ♥ Then later, F23 is on the nest when M15 flies in with a whole squirrel! F23 takes it and mantles - M goes to the attic. F23 begins defurring with E23 actively watching and excited for its first bites of squirrel meat!!

M15 drops back down to the nest and he will take the leftover fish and begin to offer bites of fish to F23 who will now feed it to E23 just like Harriet used to do! It did not take her long to pick up on M15's behavior of offering her bites of food that were meant for E23 ♥ She is quick learner!
For the next 17 minutes M15 stays on the nest offering food to F23 and E23 in a beautiful long tandem feeding. Nice closeups during the feeding process by our cam operator too.

M15 will fly off the nest and return three minutes later with a big fish! That was some catch! F23 takes that as a clue for her to take a break and M15 then broods E23 ♥ Thank you for watching!
