Llegamos al cuerpo de agua dulce más grande de Colombia: el Lago de Tota. Este hermoso espejo de agua está ubicado en el municipio de Aquitania y encanta a primera vista. Para llegar hasta allí tuvimos que tomar un bus a Sogamoso y desde allí tomar que nos dejó en el centro del pueblo. En el Lago de Tota se encuentra una famosa playa llamada Playa Blanca, sin embargo, este es sólo uno de los atractivos que tiene. En Aquitania también encontramos una variada gastronomía en la que se destaca la trucha. Hay restaurantes que las cocinan en diferentes y muy innovadoras formas.

We arrived to the larger freshwater body of Colombia: the Tota’s Lake. This beautiful water mirror is located in Aquitania y and it shines at the first sight. To arrive there we had to take a bus to Sogamoso and from there another one that took us to the downtown of Aquitania. In the lake you can find a very famous beach: “Playa Blanca Beach”, however, this is just one of its attractions. In Aquitania you can find a wide gastronomy options like the trout. There are restaurants that cooks them in very innovative and different ways.
