Ramon “Hushpuppi” Abbas was arrested in Dubai on June 10, 2020, alongside 12 of his accomplices. They are accused of perpetuating internet scams amounting to over $435 million.

Hushpuppi was extradited to the US in July 2020 to face charges of conspiring to launder money, his alleged targets included a U.S. law firm, an international bank and an English football club. Here's how they did it and how they got caught.
