woodturning amphora with two handles

Sipo for the vase and Ash for the handles.
The amphora is made with a wood lathe, the handles will be cut with a band saw and then carefully sanded.
A touch of white epoxy putty is inserted into the fine grooves carved on the vase.
The piece is protected and enhanced with clear acrylic varnish.

Du Sipo pour le vase et du Frêne pour les anses.
L'amphore est réalisée au tour à bois ,les anses seront découpés à la scie à ruban puis minutieusement poncées.
Une touche de mastic époxy blanc est insérée dans les fines rainures creusées sur le vase.
La pièce est protégée et mise en valeur avec du vernis incolore acrylique.
