UK denies Russian account on alleged warship incident

Russia has released footage of an alleged incident with a British destroyer in the Black Sea.

The country's defence ministry claims one of its warships fired warning shots and a warplane dropped bombs to force the ship out of territorial waters near Crimea.

The footage appears to show four bombs being dropped to persuade the ship to change its course.

Britain has denied the account, insisting its ship, HMS Defender, wasn't fired upon.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace says the Defender was travelling on the correct route - bypassing training 'exercises' in the area.
