Schumann: Bunte Blatter (Colored Leaves), Op. 99 (Tariq Harb, guitar)
Guitarist Tariq Harb plays this gorgeous miniature by Robert Schumann from his Op. 99 titled "Bunte Blatter" which means "Colored Leaves". This is an arrangement done by the great Francisco Tárrega.

While he also composed numerous larger works, Robert Schumann (1810-1856) is chiefly known for his mastery of the miniature: in little character pieces, in particular, he created wonderfully poetic music sometimes concentrated in just a few bars. Beyond the virtuoso displays of the early 19th Century, Schumann's genius found expression in richly Romantic harmonies, expressive melodies and skilful polyphony.
