The song is performed by Jamie Rivera, a pop singer from the Philippines. She was born Mary Jane C. Mendoza on August 29. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas.The Song is one of the composition of Fr. CARLO MAGNO MARCELO that received a prestigious Platinum Award (2003) in the Philippines. Jubillee Album received Quintuple Platinum (1999) which was also performed by Jamie Rivera.

Rivera's actual training began when she joined the Metropolitan Theatre chorus in 1985. She decided to pursue her solo career by winning the prestigious search for G.A. Yupangcos Yamaha Music Mate Girls contests while finishing her course in Economics at the University of Sto. Tomas. Soon after, OctoArts International recorded he first album entitled Hey, Its Me, which was also the title of her first major concert held at her mother theater the Metropolitan Theater. Prior her stint in Miss Saigon, Rivera was commissioned by the Department of Tourism to represent the Philippines in Japans Expo 90, an international exhibition of various cultural talents held every twenty years. In 1993, she was again made to represent the Philippines to the 7th ASEAN Music Festival in Brunei Darussalam.
