The LSL Chairman’s Jolly to the South West | 18-19.4.25

To start off the railtour season in Cornwall for 2025, here we see 37667
'Flopsie' & 37521 opening up past Wheal Busy crossing in the Cornish Liquid Sunshine, hauling 'The LSL Chairman's Jolly' to the South West.

This charter started with the 2 tractors & also with recently overhauled Castle Class No. 5029 'Nunney Castle' & 57311 'The Institute of Mechanical engineers' which coupled off at Taunton.

After this, they ran 1Z30 Taunton to St Germans, 5Z31 St Germans to Lostwithiel, & 1Z31 from Lostwithiel to Penzance, making a proper day out for the chairman and other staff from Locomotive Services Itd.

The next day, I took a short trip up to Totnes, which is a hint for my next video, and captured the 2 tractors depart from there. They were running 164 minutes late due to 37521 having slight engine failures at Penzance after arriving in from St Ives overnight. None the less, these 2 beasts once again reeled in the fame as they left Totnes with plenty of Thrash.
