Rescuing a flying-fox tangled in fruit netting: this is Prince Charming

Prince Charming was stuck in some pretty horrible netting; I haven't seen that netting for years and it's very fine and cuts the bat and rubs off the surface of their skin where they try to force their way out.
Prince Charming was lucky in that his injuries were fairly superficial. He's still got a nasty abraded face, and blistering on his wings, but he was lucky to be in the shade and not to be struggling much.

I don't know how he's going to go ultimately, but he's survived the initial 48 hours, which means he's probably not going to die of renal failure.

Keep fighting you handsome boy. You appear to be a survivor.

His name came because I rescued one bat from Prince Edward St (whom I called Prince Edward) and one bat from Elizabeth Bay whom I couldn't call Elizabeth, so I called him Prince Phillip (Phil the Greek), so this boy was from Chalmers Rd, and got called Prince Charming.
