Crazy Horse Legacy Discussion with Family Elder Floyd Clown Sr. 3D 180 VR

In this 3D 180 VR video, Crazy Horse family elder Floyd Clown Sr. discusses writing the book “Crazy Horse: The Lakota Warrior’s Life and Legacy” with documentarian and author William Matson. Based on the family’s oral history, Clown and Matson hope the book will educate the public about the real story of Crazy Horse. The family's oral history had not been told outside the family for over a century because the government had been hunting their family members since Crazy Horse was assassinated in 1877. Now, over a century later, Crazy Horse's true history is finally being told by his family. Clown currently lives in Dupree, SD on the Cheyenne River Reservation.

This discussion was held at the Baltimore American Indian Center on February 23rd, and it was Clown and Matson's landmark 308th appearance as part of their travel across the United States and Europe to promote the book.
