Long queues of cars and people amassed outside of San Juan's 'El Villicum' racetrack on Monday, where the Argentina Football Association (AFA) arranged to sell tickets for the upcoming clash between Argentina and Brazil for the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifications.
Tickets were scheduled to go on sale starting Monday morning. But due to the crowds of people, authorities decided to start selling them on Sunday.
Football fan Agustin who came from neighbouring province La Rioja stated that he spent Sunday night queuing, but then a group cut the line "around five in the morning those who were walking made a mess, sneaked in, took out the barricades and sneaked in, breaking the queue."
The classic match Argentina versus Brazil, which has already qualified for Qatar 2022, will be played on Tuesday at the Bicentennial Stadium with Lionel Messi.
