Why I Cycle The World!

I am never careful, only thoughtful since Life is a mystery, meant to be experienced!

I meet people all over the world and where ever I go they welcome me with open arms, I greet them with a smile and get from them what I put out. I always accept an invitation to strangers homes, I expect us to have discussions about high and low, I want to know what floats their boats as long as they do not try to sink mine.

The bicycle is the perfect tool to travel far enough distances but slow enough to enjoy what surrounds me. It integrates me with people because of curiosity and delivers a sensation of freedom.

To those of you who see the world as a dangerous place, The only time I have felt intimidated was when I cycled through a socio-economic deprived neighborhood in south Sweden.

The dangers of life are not out there, they are when one gets comfortable and stops challenging oneself. What interests me the most is the fact that; The way I view myself and my life, the things that affect me and the things I can not control, instantly change life itself.

On my trip to Nepal, I chose to cycle ten weeks in India. Within the first week, I got depressed and I had to change my mindset to be able to mentally survive.
I identified the things I wanted to change:
My feelings toward the country and stressful situations.

I knew I needed to believe in a possible change:
1.3 billion people live in “harmony” here, so can I.
I linked all positive encounters to emotions and started to handle all negative ones with logic.

I started to see a change but I wanted to take it further; I started to see all negative experiences as positive; no matter what they look like. I’ll learn something from every single one of them and learning is progress and progress is positive.

That is how I live my life now, all the bad shit that happens to me I usually laugh about since it’s a new experience and as long as I learn from it, it doesn’t matter how bad it is. In fact; the worse = the better!

Gandhi owned very few possessions, one of them being a statue of the three monkey which tells the story of:

“One who does not see or hear evil will not speak evil”. I interpret it as if; One that does not focus on one’s negative impressions of their interactions with the world won’t experience the world negatively and will not spread negativity on to others.

I want to MAKE YOU FEEL what I feel while cycling.
Up to this point it has been more about me showing you places and people. I want to make you feel it!

I want to cycle many parts of the world, Bikeflow has just taken its first breaths! I want to cycle with you! We cycle the world together and we enjoy every fu*king second of it =D
Now the question is!
What is it that you, really want to do, With Your Life?

Do not interpret this question as if you should find it out right now.
Suck on it for a while, it is not a big thing, it is just a question.
Not meant for action, meant for pondering and philosophical arguing.

Children laugh about 300 times a day, adults around 30.
How do you define happiness?
Are you happy where you are now?
What could you maybe do to be a bit happier?

One thing you must know is this:
Dr. Ted Kaptchuk, director of the Harvard placebo program, tells in two different studies and articles that: "It’s not fully understood how placebos work but we do know that we get a greater activity in certain brain regions linked to moods, emotional reactions and self-awareness."

In a 2014 study, led by Kaptchuck, they discovered that 50% of patients given placebo pills KNOWING they were placebo for migrane attacks were as effective as the real drug.

Placebo works.
The opposite of Placebo is Nocebo.
Nocebo works.

It is very important that you take this with you, studies and scientists agree; Negative thinking (Nocebo) affects your life.

So start with walking up to the mirror:
"I am FU*KING awesome! And now I will focus on what I REALLY WANT TO DO IN MY LIFE"

Enjoy the change ^^

Thanks for watching!
