The First Dates restaurant has been a little different this year with daters’ siblings and housemates dining nearby. No-one has dared to bring a parent for support on their date. That’s about to change when Mateo welcomes next-door neighbours and besties Aimee and Laura from Newry, who bring not just one but both their mothers. As artist Aimee meets soldier Ryan from Cork, their mums only a stone's throw away earwigging and commenting, unbeknown to, for the most part, their dates.
