MS Herald Disaster That Should Have Been Avoidable | Disasters Engineered
Amended description: On the 6th of March 1987 the MS Herald, carrying 459 passengers and 80 crew, capsized near Zeebrugge after it left the harbour with the bow doors open. The sinking took the lives of 193 people and devastated the nation in a disaster that should have been avoidable.
