DIY | How to make a Planner of a Different Cover and Why I made this | Big Happy Planner

Hi everyone!

In today's video I am sharing how to make a Planner of a Different Cover. I get it... you're thinking 'what am I talking about?'

Do you remember watching the Wizard of Oz and that scene where there is a horse of different color pulling the carriage with Dorothy and her friends? Well, that horse changed colors but I'm making my cover change designs instead.

The way I'm achieving that change is using a translucent hard cover and using the back of the Monthly insert as a decorative cover.

I enjoy the many different Happy Planners out there but don't want to spend the money on purchasing many different planners for their covers only. (I know some of you are guilty of that... I am.😉) 😂

***General Dimensions for Happy Planner***

Hard Cover 9.25" X 11.5"
Vellum Insert 8.5" X 11"
Decorative Cover (AKA Dashboard/Divider) 8.875" X 11"

*The Hard Cover is typically 3/4" Wider and 1/2" taller than the insert you are using.
*The Vellum Insert is the size of the insert you are using or can be 1/8" wider and taller.
*The overhang is about 3/8" wider.
