FROM CHORO TO CHAMBER MUSIC - 2023 BRAZILIAN MUSIC INSTITUTE (BMI) This song was written by Carlos Menezes Junior and arranged by Carlos Menezes and Vadim Arsky during the Brazilian Music Institute (BMI), May 15-19, 2023, held at the New World School of the Arts (NWSA) in downtown Miami.

Welson Tremura (voice and guitar) and supported by NWSA faculty James Gasior (piano) and Bryan Hayslett (cello) - Vadim Arsky Fillho (saxophone) – Aaron Colverson (violin) – Rafael Abdalla (bass) - Randy Lee (trumpet) – Kenneth Metzer (percussion) - Brazilian Voices and singers.

With a mission of promoting Brazilian music and culture, the 2023 BMI expands its outreach in Miami with the collaboration of the New World School of the Arts faculty and students. This powerful musical and cultural experience was founded and designed by Professor Welson Tremura in 2001 at the University of Florida in Gainesville and has since reached thousands of students and audiences.
