In Point Pleasant, West Virginia, they'll tell you the woods around the old TNT plant don't feel right at night. Two young couples found out why in November 1966. A tall gray shape standing at the tree line, wings folded against its back, red eyes the size of car reflectors staring straight at them. The thing glided beside the car at 100 miles per hour without ever flapping its wings.

Over a hundred witnesses saw it across the next thirteen months. Police, ministers, teachers, a National Guard pilot.

Then the Silver Bridge fell. Forty-six dead in the river below. The sightings stopped that same night.

The locals still won't drive past those bunkers after dark.
